ATCAS - Pink

This week at Addicted to CAS blog we have the word PINK. Thank you, Ellenor for coming up with this fabulous word. Here is my card with pink flowers. I used Mama elephant brushed florals stamp set. For stamping I used the distress inks. Using the misti tool stamped the image 2-3 times and later added a darker shade ink with brush and water to give depth to the flowers and leaves.

Doodled mandala

I had super fun coloring this piece of mdf. I bought this mdf table from Joann's. I prepped the mdf with two coats of gesso and allowed it dry completely then doodled the entire design with a pencil. Later started coloring with acyrlic paints after the painting was done again drew/doodled the outline with Faber castell artist pens used the broad tip here.  Colored the legs of the table yellow and red paint. To protect the painting I used the matt finished sealant.

Happy doodling and painting !!

Guest design for SSS flickr challenge

Hi there, Today I am guest designing at Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge. I love the challenge and often make it point to participate in their challenges. Thank you, Barb for giving this opportunity you are so sweet.
This week's theme is Sparkle and Shine and here is my take on it I used diagonal stripe stencil and gold texture paste for the background. Layered you diecut word and added a few hearts around "you" word. To add a little on hearts I added glossy accent to them
For my second card, I used Basic stripes stamp set and distress ink for the background. Also sprayed pearlized water to add the shine. Fussy cut the flowers and colored them with zig clean real brush watercolor pens. To finish my card I added a few clear sequins from Pretty pink posh.

All the dies and stamps I used on these cards are from Simon Says stamp.
