Thank you

For this card today I followed the current sketch from  CTS blog and colours from CAS colours & sketches. I used Wplus9 blanket stitched bloom stamp set and zig clean color real brush markers for coloring. Used watercolour paper for the base. The sentiment and stitched rectangle die is from Simon says stamps.

Aqua

Playing with one of my favorite stamp set Essentials by Ellen Magnolia stamp set. I love this huge flower and when I use this on my cards I end up using only this flower and nothing else as you can see in this card. I picked up the color inspiration from the current Pinsight challenge. Used Gansai tambi watercolors and versafine black ink for the flower. Splattered black water color using a thin brush and to complete my card I added Pretty pink posh clear sequins.
Here is the inspiration pic from Essentials by Ellen February Pin sight challenge

Inlay diecutting

Made this birthday card for Seize the birthday challenge and The Paper players challenge.  I used Honey bee country bloom stamp set. First stamped the image black versafine ink and colored it with zig clean color real brush markers. For die cutting I used PTI birthday die which I bought from Priya sondhi from her recent destash sale.

Found the perfect stabilizer/fleece and interfacing combination

After a lot of trials and errors finally found the perfect combination of the stabilizer/fleece and interfacing for making a tote bag. The size of this bag approximately 13 *11 inches.  I used cotton fabric for both outside and inside lining (any quilting cotton fabric will do). For the outer fabric I used fusible fleece Pellon 987F and for the lining I used fusible interfacing SF101. These both together add a lot sturdiness to this size bag  and also it give a professional look and feel to it. But this combination may not work for the bigger size bags

ATCAS - Wood

This week at Addicted to CAS blog we have the word Wood. Thank you Ceal for coming up with this fab word. Here is my card. I used the My mind's eye wood pattern paper for the background. The floral wood veneers are from Michaels store and the sentiment is from Mama elephant brushed florals stamp set.

Soft books for infants/toddlers

Recently I went to a quilt/fabric show and I fell in love with those adorable counting, alphabet fabric panels and I ended purchasing a couple of them. I bought an alphabet panel of which I am making a quilt will share the pics later.  And I also bought these soft book panels one is counting numbers and other one is farm animals.
You get all the instruction printed on the fabric so you don't have to worry anything just start cutting and sewing. I used soft cotton batting and 1/4" seam allowance for stitching.  You can use the crinkler if an infant is using the book.   Details inside the counting book
